Genus: Psilocybe

Species: Cubensis

Variety: Country Cock (HB X PE)

Country Cock – Thick-Stacked Heat from the PNW
Say hello to Country Cock, a chunky powerhouse born out of the Pacific Northwest. This cultigen is a presumed cross between Hillbilly (likely not the Pumpkin pheno) and Penis Envy, with strong signs pointing to the legendary Shepard’s PE as the source of its potency.

If you’ve ever seen those potent, dense blobs that Shepard’s PE is known for, you’ll recognize the signature spots and mutant traits in Country Cock. I sourced mine directly from Oregon, and the telltale features are unmistakable.

Fruiting Profile:
Fruiting Time: 38–42 days in bags
Yield Potential: Performs well in tubs too — fire canopies are possible
Best Temps: 65–68°F for optimal results
Pro Tip: Use a thin casing layer if you want to avoid blobbing and preserve yield

Expect thick, dense fruit with serious weight and an unmistakably “mutant” aesthetic. If you’re after that real-deal PE potency with a wild edge, Country Cock delivers.
