P. Tampanensis Medusa Variety Swab Set
Genus: Psilocybe
Species: Tampanensis
Variety: Medusa
APE King’s Medusa from B.C. Canada. This is the only “Medusa” Variety of Tampanensis that I’ve ever come across. I was a bit skeptical of the lineage at first, but you can definitely tell it has distinct characteristics from other Tamps. This cut dumps both fruits and stones! You will run into the same problem while fruiting in tubs where the existing stones will dissolve as you rehydrate your tub in order to produce fruitbodies properly. I didn’t do a great job of capturing it in these photos, but you will notice that the caps are a bit smaller, cone shaped and flare out at the bottom more than any other Tamp that I’ve run before. This is also the only variety of Tamp which grows fruits out of the sclerotia (A.K.A. Magic Truffles).
All data collected on psilocybin mushrooms have been recorded in legal territories. Our spores are intended for legal microscopy and taxonomy purposes only. Spores will be shipped separately with a slide as well as instructions on how to examine your spores under a microscope. All Spores have been collected in a completely sterile environment.
